Important Things from Ephesians 1

He has blessed us (in Christ)
– with every spiritual blessing
– in the heavenly places

He chose us (in Christ)
– before the foundation of the world

He predestined us
– for adoption (through Jesus Christ)

We have redemption & forgiveness (in Christ)
– through His blood

He lavished the riches of His grace upon us

He made known to us the mystery of His will (set forth in Christ)
– a plan to unite all things

We have obtained an inheritance (in Christ)

We have been predestined
– to be those who hope in Christ to the praise of His glory

We were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit (in Christ)
– the guarantee of our inheritance
– to the praise of His glory
